Nestled in Albany, Georgia, down a driveway lined with live oak trees, is a little slice of Heaven where Morgan grew up – and that’s where she and Jimmy were married. Surrounded by close friends and family, they exchanged vows in her grandmother’s garden, and danced the night away under a tent in the field just beyond Morgan’s family home.
From the stunning, colorful fall florals, to the love and emotion shared by Morgan + Jimmy, this was an incredibly special day – and some of my favorite images were born of it.
When we first pulled up to their home, we knew that we were somewhere special. Every inch of their property was thoughtfully designed and beautifully maintained – and I know it must have been a dream to grow up there!
Morgan, her bridesmaids, and close family got ready together in matching pajamas before cracking open champagne to toast their girl. We photographed portraits in two of their beautiful courtyards, along with Morgan’s sweet flower girl in-tow.
As Morgan and her dad prepared to walk down the aisle, I saw Jimmy’s demeanor change – it was so apparent that he couldn’t wait to see Morgan. His face as she walked down the aisle was priceless!
After exchanging vows, they happily walked back down the aisle to share a kiss and hug the family members who waited to celebrate with them.
We then slipped away for some truly stunning sunset photos – plus, a few with their adorable (and vintage!) getaway car.
Soon after, Morgan + Jimmy joined their guests for a truly spectacular tented reception. They shared a first dance and listened to a heartfelt toast from Morgan’s dad – and shed a few tears afterward!
They then cut the cake and hit the dance floor, where everyone broke it down until it was time to depart. The two ran through a tunnel of lanterns before jetting off to their honeymoon.
Morgan + Jimmy, it was an honor and a joy to photograph your day! Cheers to a lifetime of happiness!
