Ginny + Tripp’s Country Club of Columbus, Ga wedding was the 150th (!!) wedding of my career, and I couldn’t have asked for a better occasion to celebrate that milestone!
I’ve known Ginny + Tripp for years, but seeing them together for their engagement session made my heart so happy. Their engagement session was a favorite of mine because they’re such a natural fit for each other (and also… I love their dogs, ha!)
When Ginny began telling me more about the details of her wedding, I was giddy. She and Kerri of TOAST Events planned to transform the Country Club of Columbus– floral chandeliers, a round bar, lucite stools, a monogrammed dance floor, and unique vignettes– and I was here for it!
The week of the wedding, the chance of rain loomed high in the forecast, but we weren’t about to let that ruin the day. Though we had some breakthrough storms throughout the day, we saw a ton of sunshine– it was beautiful!
Ginny + her bridesmaids got ready at her soon-to-be sister in law’s house, which was, conveniently, right across the street from the church. Emily Cumings Ward and Lauryl Estelle made them look their absolute best.
Ginny and Tripp’s invitation suite by Paper Daisies was stunning: hand-painted watercolors (by MESH by Alex) of the church lined the envelope, while their dogs, Eve and Cooper, adorned a welcome guide.
Ginny’s mom helped her get into her beautiful Anne Barge dress before her portraits outside of St. Paul Church. One of my favorite moments of the day, though, was Ginny’s first look with her dad. There wasn’t a dry eye in the church vestibule as Mr. Turner hugged his little girl. Ginny gave him a beautiful glass decanter with a precious message engraved on it.
After, it was finally time for Ginny and Tripp to see each other. Tripp had the BIGGEST smile and Ginny burst into tears. They both were thrilled to see their pups trotting up right after, wearing floral collars. With the help of McDonald’s hamburgers and fries, we got some great photographs of them!
Another highlight of the day was the flower girl and ring bearer- young family members- who were absolutely PRECIOUS. Della spun around like a princess while Riggs held a beautiful pillow adorned with a Shuler Studio monogram.
After a sweet ceremony, guests headed to the Country Club of Columbus for a truly stunning transformation. TOAST Events and Edge Design Group truly knocked it out of the park! Ginny + Tripp shared a first dance before doing the same with their mom and dad, and a cake was brought out to celebrate Mr. Turner’s birthday.
We took a quick trip to the golf course for sunset, just in time to see their vintage Packard pull up. Ginny hopped in the driver’s seat and I loved it!
After dancing to Jessie’s Girls (one of my absolute favorites!) Ginny + Tripp ran through a tunnel of sparklers before jetting off to their honeymoon.
