When Rocky + Jean settled on their wedding date, they certainly didn’t plan on a pandemic. But, even as plans changed and guest lists dwindled, they didn’t let it affect their attitudes. Jean is one of the most joyful and kind people I’ve ever known, so I didn’t expect anything different!

Their Farm at Old Edwards Inn wedding started with a whole lot of rain– literally and figuratively– and ended up to be one of the most beautiful, special days that I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing (and some of the best weather, too!)

I’ve always been eager to photograph a wedding at Old Edwards, and this was the most wonderful start, by far. Every detail was perfectly planned by Shayna Bigazzi of Altaterra Events.

Though the guest list was smaller than originally planned, I have to say– I wouldn’t have changed a detail. Seeing Jean + Rocky surrounded by their closest friends and family members on their big day was truly special.

Jean + Rocky said their vows before sharing a kiss and stomping on a glass. The look on Rocky’s dad’s face– so full of emotion– was just a testament to the whole day.

True to form, Jean’s parents cut a rug on the dance floor, and their band, The Main Attraction, was truly the best wedding band I’ve ever seen (and I’ve photographed a lot of weddings!)

Before the night ended, the Old Edwards staff baked fresh pizzas for their guests, and Jean + Rocky ran through a tunnel of sparklers before leaving their reception.

Jean + Rocky, it was such an honor and a joy to spend such a special day with you! Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
