Michelle + Ryan’s Farm at Old Edwards wedding in Highlands, NC was such a sweet celebration of love between two of the kindest people I’ve ever met.

From the giddy excitement that filled the air as they got ready for the day, to the emotion that filled their faces as they saw each other for the first time at their ceremony – the love that these two share was truly something to behold.

One of my favorite elements of this day, though, was the abundance of sentimental details woven throughout. From the zinnias planted by Michelle + Ryan that were used in the floral arrangements; to lace from Michelle’s grandmother’s wedding dress, lovingly embroidered into a handkerchief that wrapped around her bouquet; a stunning family heirloom necklace borrowed from Michelle’s mother; the many books used throughout the reception space as an homage to Ryan’s love of reading; and “Loganland” – a special spot for kiddos, named after their sweet son– it was all so special!

Michelle + Ryan, you are truly amazing and I’m honored to have photographed your wedding day. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss, and being each others’ True Companion!
