Mary Frances and Jonathan’s winter wedding weekend in Columbus, Ga was so full of joy and emotion that I can’t help but be transported back to it by looking at these photos. From Jonathan’s reaction when he first saw his bride, to the Father of the Bride seeing his little girl in her wedding gown, there was no shortage of happy tears throughout the weekend. The sentimental details, too, were so special – including the green velvet outfits worn by the flower girls and ring bearers – originally worn by Mary Frances and her sister when they were flower girls as children!

Mary Frances and her bridesmaids got ready at the Illges House in Columbus, Ga before exchanging vows in the church that Mary Frances grew up in – St. Luke.

The sanctuary featured beautifully-adorned Christmas trees and spectacular florals by the amazing Albright’s Florist. After a beautiful ceremony, guests entered a winter wonderland at the Bibb Mill, perfectly designed by Patti of P. Hasting Design. From white and green florals to gorgeous gold accents – it was truly gorgeous.

As Mary Frances joined her dad on the dance floor, a large “Donate Life” sign lit the back of the stage – and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Mary Frances’ dad’s life was saved by the selfless act of organ donation, and he honored his donor’s family during the dance. It was such a moving moment!

Mary Frances + Jonathan really are two of the kindest, most sincere people I’ve ever met and I know that they are so well matched. Their care for each other and those around them is a reminder of their goodness and how we should all strive to treat each other.

I can’t wait to see where their marriage takes them!
