Maggie + Luke’s colorful winter wedding in Columbus, Ga was the perfect way to end a wonderful 2022. The genuine love and joy shared between the two can’t be understated. I was struck by the kind, thoughtful, team that they make – and by the quality of the people they surround themselves with. Simply put, they’re a delight.
From the 70 degree weather (in December!) to Maggie’s bold and beautiful floral choices, theirs was a day I won’t soon forget.
Maggie and her bridesmaids got ready at Luke’s childhood home as Maggie + Luke’s pup, Rosie, trotted happily throughout the house. After Lauryl Estelle and Emily Ward put their finishing hair and makeup touches on the girls, they headed to First Presbyterian Church in downtown Columbus, Ga where Maggie slipped into her truly stunning Anne Barge gown.
After sharing a sweet first look with her dad, it was time to see Luke – and his reaction was precious. These two looked like something out of Vogue as they stood in front of the church for portraits.
The ceremony, officiated by Father Patterson of Holy Family (Luke’s family church) was so special. The guests beamed at Maggie and her dad as they walked down the aisle. After exchanging their vows, Maggie + Luke headed to their reception at the Big Eddy Club, where the party began!
Guests enjoyed the music of Big Bling and the Funk Machine while enjoying the Big Eddy’s scenery.
After running through a shower of rose petals tossed by friends and family, Maggie + Luke departed in their getaway car and to their honeymoon.
Maggie + Luke, it was a joy and an honor to photograph your big day. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
