Elizabeth + Miles’ St. Luke and Big Eddy Club wedding in Columbus, Ga was just so much fun. I really can’t say enough good things about these two. They are kind, they are beautiful, they are deeply in love, and I wish that they lived closer because I’m certain we would hang out all the time (that is to say, I’d love to hang out with them all the time!)

Their day was full of fun and happy tears — from Miles’ reaction to seeing Elizabeth for the first time, to crowd surfing at the reception — there was no lack of emotion in this day!

Elizabeth and her bridesmaids got ready at the home of a family friend before making their way to St. Luke Church. Elizabeth’s mom buttoned her into her gown atop the church steps as her bridesmaids, wearing coordinating floor-length gowns in shades of blue, looked on.

The girls carried bouquets of peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, and eucalyptus, beautifully crafted by David Benefield of Highland Hall.

Elizabeth + Miles shared their first look outside of the sanctuary and Miles’ reaction was priceless.

After a sweet ceremony, guests departed for the Big Eddy Club, where they were greeted with champagne and a charcuterie. Patti of P. Hasting design planned it perfectly. After cutting their cake, we headed out for some sunset photos — goodness, I just love these two! Elizabeth had no problem trekking barefoot, and Miles made sure she didn’t step on anything precarious.

After several hours of dancing to some epic music, Elizabeth + Miles ran through rose petals before heading off on their honeymoon.

Elizabeth + Miles, I just love you both! It was an honor to photograph your big day. Call me next time you’re in town for a margarita… Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
