Mr. + Mrs. Morris // Columbus, Georgia Wedding Photographer

Oh, friends! I am so excited to share Autumn + Seth’s wedding day. To say that this was one of the happiest days I’ve ever been a part of would be an understatement. Truly, I don’t think there was a single moment throughout the entire day that Autumn wasn’t beaming, or that Seth wasn’t looking at her with an awestruck expression. It was beautiful.

Autumn + Seth met just after Autumn moved to Florida several years ago. Autumn says she knew she’d marry him the moment she met him, which makes perfect sense when you see them together. Seth is in the Air Force and wore his uniform (swoon) and Autumn looked like a Disney princess. Seriously. She is beyond beautiful– inside and out!

Autumn made it clear the first time we spoke that photography was incredibly important to her (which, of course, thrilled me) and that she wanted her first look with Seth to be special and unique. So, we thought… why not have it on top of a mountain?

As I drove to their venue, I saw a gorgeous lookout just a few miles down the road. Autumn didn’t hesitate to hop in the car, wedding dress and all, to meet Seth in the clearing. Truly, I’ve never seen such a joyful and emotional first look in all my life. (It was so awesome that I even made it into a GIF… see below).

Autumn + Seth, thank you so much for allowing me to document your day. I had SO MUCH FUN with you and your families and I’m so grateful to know you both. Wishing you both a lifetime of bliss!

I love the images above and below– above was Autumn and Seth’s first “alone” moment after the ceremony, and below is Seth hugging his sweet mama. Heart-melting.

Seth and his mom started out dancing to “Georgia on My Mind” but surprised us all when they broke out some of the most epic dance moves of all time to “Best Day of My Life”. So cool.

Seth's dad asked if I'd photograph the two of the two of them and their wedding rings. I'm so glad that he did because I love this shot!
