Morgan + Park // Atlanta Wedding Photographer // Spring Lake Events // Military Wedding

If you know me, you know that I love a good adventure. Road trips, foreign countries, climbing mountains– you name it, I’m up for it. Park + Morgan’s love story has been just that: the ultimate adventure. They were high school sweethearts turned long-distance during college, and at the end of a three week, cross-country road trip (they camped the whole way) Park got down on one knee at the Georgia-Alabama border at the side of Route 20. Swoon.

For this and many other reasons, I knew that they were my ideal couple from the get-go: laid-back, super in love, committed to marriage, and up for just about anything. At one point during the day I said, “y’all are going to think I’m crazy, but can we…”, to which Morgan replied, “we hired you BECAUSE you’re crazy!” — and that just about made my life. I put them in a boat, I shot them through a copper pipe, I had them hold still for a ridiculous amount of time while their friends ran around them in circles holding fire– and not ONCE did they miss a beat. I should also note that I cried AT LEAST four times during the day. Maybe it was hormones, or maybe it was just because IT WAS SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL, but I did. And I AM NOT ASHAMED.

A few other things that I loved about their day: their truly incredible bridal party, their first look (the first time I started crying), the touching ceremony officiated by a long-time family friend, the saber arch following their ceremony, putting them INTO A BOAT, Park’s (surprise) Chick-fil-a groom’s cake, the song that Morgan’s dad WROTE and preformed and made every last one of us weep, and watching them break. it. down. on the dance floor.

Morgan and Park, y’all are a DREAM and I love you. Thanks for agreeing to my every whim. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!

Such an awesome first look -- I had them stand side-by-side with their eyes closed and turn to each other. And then I cried. Such an awesome first look — I had them stand side-by-side with their eyes closed and turn to each other. And then I cried.
