Carolyn + Nick’s Country Club of Columbus wedding in Columbus, Ga was absolutely gorgeous– every detail was perfect!

From monogrammed champagne bottles to a monogrammed dance floor, Carolyn + Nick left their mark. This is no surprise, though, as Carolyn’s mom owns Shuler Studio, who specializes in custom monograms. She also has incredible taste, so the entire day was just incredible.

There were so many parts of this day that I loved: the fact that Carolyn wore her mother’s wedding gown (that her grandmother made by hand!), Nicks’ reaction to seeing her for the first time, the fact that Carolyn’s brother, Mattox, played their first dance song, watching their niece and nephew break it down on the dance floor, and watching the two of them run through a spray of confetti before jetting off to their honeymoon.

Every detail was so sentimental and memorable, and being able to photograph their joy throughout the day was such an honor.

Carolyn + Nick, thank you so much for inviting me along for the day! It was such an honor to be there. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!

The only problem with these young ladies is that they are fourteen years old, always walking around in twos and threes, giggling nonstop privatedelight, and wearing their mother’s shoes. These girls are still standing with one foot (in mom’s shoe, of course) in that beautiful world where children are shaken out in the sandbox and told, “Look, Mashenka, what a nice boy!
