It’s hard to describe how honored that I feel to photograph every wedding that I do, and even more so when it’s the wedding of a dear, sweet friend. I met Alison in college– we were in the same sorority and instantly clicked. Every time I try to talk about what a wonderful friend and person she is, I immediately get emotional because she is just so great. Truly. It’s rare that you meet someone whose outer beauty perfectly reflects who they are on the inside, and I think you can all tell from these images that she is GORGEOUS.

About four years ago, when visiting Al in D.C., we were both so excited to tell the other over drinks that we had, “met a wonderful guy!” It’s crazy now to think that we are both married to the men we were talking about. Rob is truly Alison’s perfect counterpart: impossibly kind and caring, thoughtful, crazy in love with Al, and ridiculously good looking. Truly, a match made in Heaven.

Al + Rob’s wedding was nothing short of perfect: small, intimate, heartfelt, and very much “DIY.” The guest list was comprised of just family, their siblings doubled as their bridal party, and every vendor was either a family member or “honorary” family member. Lucky for them, they have crazy-talented families, as you’ll see below.

Alison + Rob, thank you for letting me be a part of your big day. I love you both to infinity and beyond and am so excited for what life holds dor you. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
