They met not long after Eric was stationed in Ft. Benning. Their first date wasn’t a storybook event – Jessica was two hours late from a crazy shift in the ER, where she worked as a PA. She showed up in scrubs in the pouring down rain. Though the circumstances weren’t ideal, the connection was. They fell for each other quickly and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony by the Chattahoochee at the Rivermill Event Center, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
From the time that I photographed their engagement session, I knew that these two were the real deal. Their chemistry is effortless, and their relationship is clearly one built upon love and respect. We laughed for a solid two hours and I loved getting to know them more – as a couple. it was easy to see that they were meant to be together!
There are so many things that I loved about their Rivermill Event Center wedding — from the way that Jessica’s dress hung on the large windows, to their sweet pup, Daisy Mae, who made an appearance in a floral collar – to Jessica’s little sister face-down on the ground for wedding party photos (pictured below) – it was a day full of joy and a LOT of laughs.
Jessica + Eric, I am so honored to have been a part of your wedding day. Best of luck to you both in your new adventure in Nashville – cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
