WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IS EXACTLY THAT: AN INVESTMENT. ASIDE FROM YOUR RINGS, PHOTOGRAPHY IS THE ONLY TANGIBLE THING YOU'RE LEFT WITH AFTER EXCHANGING VOWS. THE FLOWERS WILL WILT, THE CAKE WILL BE EATEN, BUT WHAT WILL YOU SHOW YOUR GRANDCHILDREN?

99% of the time, yes. I do sometimes photograph lifestyle commercial sessions for entrepreneurs and small businesses who are a great fit. I photograph families once a year during my fall mini sessions.

+ do you only photograph weddings?

Columbus, Georgia, and heck yes! I travel for the majority of my weddings and love it. And, if you're getting married somewhere that's on my bucket list, you could be eligible for a super sweet deal!

+ Where are you located? Do you travel?

Moral-- like, "moral of the story."

+ How do you pronounce your last name?

FAQ

100%. While I love styled shoots and will occasionally feature them on my blog, I believe that it's incredibly important that a portfolio be a reflection of photographs taken on an actual wedding day, rather than a curated set. After all, chances are that you and your significant other aren't professional models. The images seen in my portfolio are of actual couples on actual wedding days.

+ how much of your portfolio is real weddings vs. styled shoots?

Outdoor weddings and natural light portraits are my specialty. I do take one or two indoor weddings a year with unique features and couples who aren't against getting their feet dirty.

+ what kind of weddings do you prefer to photograph?

FAQ

For weddings, a $1000 non-refundable retainer fee is due at the time of booking, as well as a signed contract. For engagement sessions, a $300 retainer is collected.

+ what is required to book?

The earlier the better. If your wedding is just around the corner, though, don't hesitate to reach out. Every year is different, and I sometimes have a few rogue dates here and there!

+ How far in advance should I book?

Heck yes and heck yes. So long as you're pro-fun and super in love, I'd be honored to photograph your wedding day.

+ do you photograph elopements? What about same-sex weddings?
