A St. Paul Church and Big Eddy Club Wedding by Eliza Morrill

What a day! Sarah + Jon’s Columbus, Georgia wedding was absolutely beautiful. This is no surprise, though, as Sarah’s mother has impeccable taste, and Patti Hasting of P. Hasting Design helped bring that vision to life.

Sarah + Jon live in Savannah, where Sarah is an OB-GYN and Jon is in advertising. These two could not be sweeter, and it was such an honor to be a part of their day!

Sarah + her bridesmaids got ready at her parents’ home, and later headed to St. Paul UMC where the ceremony took place. Her mom and bridesmaids buttoned her into her dress, and her sister, Caroline, put on her veil, which has been worn by over a dozen other brides (including Caroline!) who are near and dear to her.

Jon’s face when he first saw Sarah was so sweet, and their sweet pup joined us for a few photos, also!

We made our way to the Big Eddy Club after the ceremony for sunset photos, which I loved!

The Big Eddy Club was beautiful — Geist and Co. did a fantastic job with floral design, and the CAKES were incredible! At first, I didn’t believe them when they told me that the flowers on Sarah’s cake weren’t actually real, but made of fondant. And Jon, an avid guitarist, had a guitar cake that was amazing.

After a night of dinner and dancing, Sarah + Jon left for Paris through friends and family tossing lavender. It was the perfect day!

Sarah + Jon, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your big day. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
