Oh, goodness — where do I begin? Ann + TC’s Illges House and Big Eddy wedding was such a fun day to be a part of! From the details that Ann chose, to the couple themselves, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off wedding season.
Ann + TC met on Bumble, and love came quickly. Though I grew up with Ann (her brother Craig and I were in the same grade), I didn’t meet TC until I photographed their engagement session. I knew then and there that these two were the real deal, and their wedding day only solidified that!
The wedding party got ready at the beautiful Illges House in Columbus (truly, one of my FAVORITE places — every corner is incredible!) and the ceremony and reception took place at the Big Eddy Club.
Ann designed and handlettered the invitations herself, carried a family handkerchief with a fitting “A” on it, and another family heirloom, Jeffery — an old teddy bear that has belonged to both her mom and her aunt (her mom even had some bridal portraits taken with him!) made an appearance.
Her mom buttoned her into her dress before her first look with her dad, and that’s when the tears started. Let me tell you: they didn’t stop after that. Happy tears, of course!
After their first look, Ann + TC shared what might be *the* sweetest and most beautiful letters I’ve ever heard. They said their vows underneath a beautiful floral arch before dancing the night away inside the Big Eddy.
Really and truly, every second of the day was perfect!
Ann + TC, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of such a wonderful day. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
