Oh, friends. Talk about fun. Edgar and Patrick’s wedding day may have been a little on the dreary side due to the weather, but every other detail was truly perfect, making the cold and rain a non-issue. What else would you expect, though, from the power couple of the century? Edgar and Patrick are both successful lawyers with, I am convinced, secret careers as GQ models. They are both so handsome, but together, WHOA. Talk about GQ husbands. For those reasons and so many more, I loved their Biltmore Ballrooms wedding in Atlanta!

Seeing their reactions during their first look was probably my favorite moment of the day. It was such a testimony to their love for each other and I may or may not have shed a tear (or ten.) I’ve known Edgar since childhood, and truly, I have never seen him happier. To say that Patrick is his perfect counterpart is a true understatement – photographing their day was just so wonderful.

The two were married at All Saints Episcopal Church in one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve ever witnessed – surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was perfect.

The real party started, however, with the reception at the Biltmore Ballrooms. P. Hasting Design and Tulip Atlanta transformed the space and it was especially breathtaking. Just when guests thought the night couldn’t get any better, Edgar and Patrick slipped away to don THE BEST sequin jackets and light up glasses and brought the house down. *Probably* one of my favorite reception surprises of all time. Edgar and Patrick, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day. It was such an honor and I loved every minute. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
