Freya + Alex // Atlanta Wedding Photographer // Bohemian Outdoor Wedding at Smith-Gilbert Gardens

They met at a music festival. They fell in love. They got married.

Freya + Alex’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of their relationship – genuine, colorful, creative, and unique. Because of their love for music and festivals, they wanted to incorporate that ambiance into their wedding day, and they pulled it off perfectly!

Freya + her bridesmaids did their own hair and makeup and completed their looks with flash tattoos – so fun! Their Show Me Your MuMu dresses were perfect for the day, and I can’t say I was too surprised when Freya’s mom told me that they all had a history of modeling. Freya’s BHLDN dress was seemingly made for her, and the light we found at Smith-Gilbert Gardens complemented it perfectly. Her colorful bouquet of dahlias, ranunculus, and roses was definitely a showstopper – I wouldn’t mind having one of those sitting on my coffeetable forever.

Alex + his groomsmen wore custom suits with succulent boutonnieres. Another added touch? They drank out of horns the whole day. So awesome.

Hands down, one of my favorite moments was Alex’s reaction as he watched Freya walk down the aisle. They also wrote their own vows, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.

After they said, “I do,” they cut a tie dyed Star Wars cake and danced the night away to the Emerald Empire Band.

Freya + Alex, thank you SO MUCH for inviting me to be a part of such an incredible day. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
