Let me tell you a little bit about Meredith + Brad’s wedding day. As I was packing up the car to head their way, a tornado warning was in effect for our area. Nevertheless, my second shooter and I headed that way and were ready to rock. Though it was pouring when we got to Meredith’s grandmother’s house (where we found the AMAZING chair that we photographed the detail shots on), but we put on our rain gear and headed inside. By the time we headed for the church, the rain had died down, and just as Meredith slipped into her gown, the rain had stopped. Amazing, right?

By the time Meredith + Brad had their first look, the sky was blue and the sunshine was perfect. It stayed that way the rest of the night. A drizzle started just after they left the reception in their getaway car, and yet ANOTHER TORNADO WARNING was issued an hour later. There’s no doubt in my mind that someone was orchestrating the clouds up above for these two– and what a beautiful day it was.

A few of my favorite moments: Brad’s emotional reaction to seeing Meredith for the first time, the moment they set aside to thank their families during the ceremony (and the look on Meredith’s mom’s face when they did), the precious ring bearer’s suit that MEREDITH’S GRANDMOTHER MADE HERSELF (!!!!), the very best wedding cake I’ve ever had (chocolate cheesecake ohmygoodness), Brad’s epic dance moves and the way he loves his sweet bride, and watching Meredith’s grandmother break it down on the dance floor. Meredith + Brad, thank you for letting me tag along and document such a perfect day. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
