If memory serves me correctly, Ben + Mary Bailey met as toddlers at St. Thomas Day School. This is extra exciting and meaningful to me, because my boys are there now, and my heart does a little dance just thinking that one of them could marry one of the girls in their class. But this story isn’t about me, sooo…
Ben + Mary Bailey grew up together, dating in high school and in college, always knowing that the other was it. That all culminated on a day in December when they finally made it official. It was beautiful: a ceremony at St. Luke UMC and a reception at RiverMill.
Some of my favorite parts of the day: the fact that the lace in Mary Bailey’s dress perfectly matched the veil that her mother wore for her own wedding, how beautiful every single picture of Ben + MB turned out because THAT LIGHT!!!, the few sweet moments that MB had with her dad before walking down the aisle, the AMAZING floral chandelier that hung over the dance floor as guests broke it down to one of the greatest wedding bands I’ve ever seen, and the awesome vendor team that made it all happen.
Ben + Mary Bailey, thank you for bringing me along for the ride– cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
