Oh, friends. This wedding was, in a word. amazing.

Emily + Ross first met in a UGA volleyball class when Ross nearly broke Emily’s knee in what I can only assume was an epic ploy. Fast forward 6 years, and they tied the knot on their dating anniversary. And that, my friends, is adorable.

Every detail of their day was awesome. The girls got ready at Elijana Cosmetics in Downtown Athens– a perfect, laid-back spot with tons of natural light. When Emily put on her dress, I just about fell out. I swear, it was designed for her. We wandered around beautiful North Campus (the same place we shot their engagement session a year earlier) before Emily + Ross shared their first look. Ross, too, was looking dapper in his custom-made suit (that BLUE! I love it!).

The ceremony and reception took place at Graduate Athens, and let me tell you– I LOVE the overhaul they’ve done since their rebrand. A close friend officiated the ceremony, and guests danced the night away with full bellies (and with a special appearance by Hairy Dawg!). As a Georgia grad, it didn’t get much better than that.

Emily + Ross, I am so, so happy for you two. Cheers to a lifetime of bliss!
